Proportional Pressure Regulator
The proportional pressure regulator is usually referred to as I/P or E/P convertors. They are responsible for conversion of a variable amount of current or voltage signal into a proportional compressed precise air output. A proportional pressure regulator offers different functions such as open and closed-loop control, fail freeze, etc. Output pressure, proportional to an electrical command signal, always remains unaffected by variations in supply pressure. In such regulators, there are inlet solenoid valve shifts proportional to flow and upholds system presence.
The variable orifice has some effect on controlling pressure at low-flow conditions and also evades the digital steps of customary on/off solenoids. The Sequence is available in an extensive range of electrical command inputs and analog outputs.
Working procedure of Proportional Pressure Regulator
Working procedure of proportional regulator consists on following steps:
Role of Solenoid valves
A proportional pressure control valve is a complete closed-loop servo system which consists of two solenoid valves. The one valve of this proportional regulator is an internal pressure transducer, and the other one is recognized as electronic controls. Proportional pressure regulator Based on an analog signal and the pressure is controlled by two solenoid valves to preserve precise pressure. One valve of the proportional regulator functions as inlet control and the other one works as exhaust.
Precise pressure variations
This proportional regulator measures pressure output by an internal or an external feedback pressure transducer that also delivers a feedback signal to the electronic controls. The electronic pressure regulator is considered the best choice for industries that need precise pressure variations at any time and monitor pressure values.
Electronic pressure regulator Arduino
Electronic pressure regulator Arduino users need to dial in the amount of force they want. Then using an algorithm, a proportional regulator will calculate the amount of required pressure to attain that force. On the press, users have a force transducer that measures the actual amount of force that the press achieved. After that, there is a need to feed this force measurement value into a Proportional integral differential algorithm to compute the offset force. The attractiveness of this method is that supposedly it should be able to explain the losses in piping and pieces of machinery.
The proportional regulator offers three selections of input signal. 0-10VDc, 4-20mA, or RS485 Modbus are three available options. In addition, it offers the freedom to choose the Monitor signal from 1-5V, 0-10V, or 4-20mA.
The special design of the Proportional regulator offers high pressure as well as high flow capability electronic pressure regulator in design. For all those applications that require a high pneumatic flow rate, proportional regulator offers the choice of air pilot volume booster to strengthen downstream flow. For applications that need an external pressure transducer, an airflow regulator with a digital pressure gauge offers an option to link pressure regulators to exterior sensors for closed-loop control.
Almost all the proportional regulators have CE, SGS, RoHS certification with ISO13485 quality system. They are commonly being used in Laser cutting, PET bottle molding machines, multi-stage pressure control, etc.
